No, they certainly are not, but they sure are comfy, though. I have found
that their leather is consistantly thicker than a lot of other general-wear
shoes on the market. So, inasmuch as I would agree that their
crash-worthiness is not up to snuff with a good pair of riders, I am going
to go out on a limb and say that as far as standard everyday shoes go, they
are top-tier.
