Not sure what the deal with the archive is, but if you'd like, I can cut and paste the various e-mails and send them off-list to you. I think I have everything from 1/2008-present on my computer, and have archived everything from 9/2006-present (thanks, GMail!)

I was looking at frame sliders the other day wondering if they were just the latest visual gadget or they actually would help prevent this kind of damage, or at least minimize it. I know they were developed for race bikes to protect the engine casings???
