I am with USAA, not Progressive. I used to have the house with USAA, the
cages with 21st Century and the bike(s) with GMAC or whoever does the Rider
magazine insurance. I found that combining all with USAA give me a lower
total premium, albeit the bike insurance was a tad higher than the previous
carrier. Not sure when I switched the bike insurance to USAA, but probably
6 to 7 years ago.
When I was considering buying a sport bike 2 years ago, I got quotes from
USAA for a GSX-R1000 and a Sprint ST 1050. The Sprint premium was higher
since the displacement was over the magic 1000cc limit. I bought the
Daytona 675 instead.

Are you with USAA or Progressive? I tried getting USAA to cover my bike,
but they said Progressive handles their bike insurance.
