The Australian dollar is almost at parity with the US dollar, (and is tiped to go higher)?but sucks against the Euro.

Might be an option for buying stuff out of the US. I know a lot of people on our island are doing just that. Importers of goods from the US are not bothering for an while as its cheaper via the internet.

That's crazy. It's more expensive in France than in US. Not to mention the $/EURO rate.?
