Jack, I have to say that the flat rear tire was simply karma.
I was feeling bad enough that I wasted a weekend with perfect riding
weather here in Ferndale by deciding instead to start painting the
ol' Victorian. Then you come along and rub salt into the wound by
providing a lovely, detailed account of how much fun you're having.
Two days worth!
