I used spray can for quite some years but found out that it's really difficult to clean
the chain afterward. Then now I use oil. I reckon that the spray is faster to spread out and it seem to last
longer, but cleaning the chain was such a pain in the a** that I gave up the spray.
I take a can when traveling though.
