What do you mean $17.50 surcharge? Are you implying that you can buy something from Costco if not a member and just pay a little more? I was always under the impression you had to be a member or you could not buy there, with the exception of their pharmacy...

Good write up and good to know, thanks for sharing.  I've been shopping
Canon 
DSLR's recently and was about to pull the trigger on an order with 
http://www.1wayphoto.com/ when I heard they do the same thing.  You may find

they are related to Prestige as well?
