I was hitting the exit lane off the interstate doing about 60 mph and about
30 ft behind the car
in front of me. That car gave no indication of anything in the road. A
piece of 3x4 plywood
comes floating up off the road after the car passed over it. I was going to
fast to even think about swerving and just had time start standing on the
pegs and hope I didn't get smacked in
the body or head. The plywood was high enough that my front wheel went
under it and lifted. Destroyed my fender as it hit the forks almost
straight on and then went careening off to the left.
Nothing happened to me except feeling the jolt of the bike hitting the
plywood and no other
damage except for the fender.
Oh, yea. Then there was the redneck yahoo in West Virginia on a busy two
lane road who came
half way into my lane to see if he run me into the ditch.
