Ed,

Just got back from Indy.  The 125 race started in the dry, but heavy 
rains shortened it.  The 250 race was scheduled for 2PM, but was delayed 
to 4:15 after the Moto GP race.  The Moto GP race started on time at 
3PM, but was red-flagged  after 20 laps due to very heavy rain and high 
winds.  Then about  15 minutes after the red flag, out came the sun.  
The final 8 laps were going to be run, but due to the continued high 
winds it was called official at  20 laps.  We left the speedway under 
light rain and high winds about 4:30 PM and the 250 guys had taken a few 
warm up laps.  That's all I know on the 250s.

We headed back to PA in light to heavy rain and some pretty good wind 
gusts - got about 125 miles before we called it quits for the day.

Thoughts -- Awesome experience - glad I did it.  Probably won't go back 
- but would make the trip to Barber if they get a WSB race.  Traffic 
around Indy sucks and the speedway is right in the middle of town, 
although access isn't really bad.  And I got to ride down and park on 
the backstretch of the 2 1/2 mile famed Indy oval all 3 days!!

Thanks to the Indy RAT pack for the trouble they went to arranging for 
the tickets.  Probably had some of the best seats located in the SW 
Vista for action on the track.
