Not ridden a Trophy, but have ridden an ST (in the dark) both with /
without the two lights fix being discussed and in my experience the
difference in terms of useful illumination of the road ahead between
one light and two (done this way by relays etc.) is pretty small - not
zero, but not anything like twice as bright either. For someone
wondering whether to go to trouble of installing the extra relays it
might be helpful to have a realistic expectation of the difference it
might make. But of course YMMV.
