Re: [St] Speed

True, true,  I don't ride like that all the time, but I do on occasions like to go fast.  Now since I am an American living in Germany for a short time.  I can legally do this high speed on certain parts of the autobahn.  Once I go back to the US, that won't be happening.

Last year on a 00 i -allegedly- followed a bike and sat at 140.
Conditions were good and no animals around and i could have gone
faster but it was above the comfort zone.
my 05 has around 154 logged as highest speed from previous owner

Personally, i wont take it that high where there are the potential for
cars to switch lanes, sheep to run out or birds swooping low. Not
moralising, simply my choice.

mph. I don't know how accurate that is since I didn't have a GPS with
me at the time. I guess if you take the speedo usually reading a little high,
it was probably maxing out at about 149 mph. This is with stock gearing and
tires.
