ok, thanks Paul and Eric; now how to I get to the catch (and plate) if the seat is jammed onto the bike and I cannot use the lock to remove it? Any suggestions or ideas to try would be much appreciated; e.g. is it possible to twist the key in the lock while putting pressure on the plate (with the seat still in place) ?
