Horns that suck

Before any of you go out and buy a loud horn on the ST, try a little trick I
learned from my Concours (now dearly departed in anticipation of the
supersonic 'red' ST).

Although I haven't looked closely at the ST horn, I'm assuming its much like
most stock motorcycle horns.  If this is the case, making it loud (er) can
be ridiculously simple.  There should be a small set screw held in place
with a small nut.  This set screw pushes against the horn's diphragm,
limiting the range of movement.  Simply loosen the nut and back the screw
all the way out (but not so that it falls off), then tighten the nut.  When
I did this on my Concours, the volume increase of the horn was absolutely
dramatic.

Let me know if this works on anyone's ST.
