RE: Lidar defense

Small prob. in my neck of the woods.  Detectors are illegal and the idea of
a counterfire method of scrambling their guns will probably get you put in
jail.  I am not saying it is a bad idea but it has been done.  I believe
some of the radar/ lidar detector folks out there have an array that is
modulated and causes the computer in the gun to be confused.  I believe the
air force is also working on something similar for heat guided missiles.
They develop "hot spots" at different areas of the plane and at a probably
varied frequency thus locking up the computer in the missile.  Real Cool!
