Hi all. With the rally a few weeks away I thought I would post a few =
things that may be of interest.

Jenna and I will not be arriving until Friday afternoon or early =
evening. I hope to meet everyone Friday night.=20
For those who will ride on Friday to the Cliff House restaurant. Great =
view. Just north of the restaurant a short(8? miles) but really nice =
ride is 374 to Mount Judea. Lots of challenging downhill curves. You =
dont actully need to go all the way to Mount Judea just towards the =
town. I always ride it down and then back up. For those who were after =
lots of miles you would go NW at the bottom of 374 to Arkansas 65. South =
on 65 to 27(south) to 16 (west). This stretch of 16 is awesome with =
little traffic. At the junction of 16&7 you might try 123(southwest). =
Another great stretch. You must go north on 7 to catch 16 west. West on =
16 a few miles you will see a sign for the Alum Cove recreation area. =
Here you will find(with a short walk) one of Arkansas' largest natural =
bridges. =20
On the subject of bridges . I am a historic bridge buff. North of =
Eureka Springs on 187 is one of the few suspension bridges in Arkansas. =
Built in 1943. Worth a look if you like bridges.=20
While on the subject those people in Texas should check out the few =
suspension bridges in Texas. Also a lot of truss bridges.=20

Well thats it for now. I will post more if when going through past trip =
notes I find something of interest.

Robert in Dallas Tx
