Bert,

My hand size is about an 8.5 and the Triumph heated grips are just fine.  I
used to ride with a pair of foam grips on my old scoot and never was able to
comfortably control the throttle while keeping two fingers poised on the
front brake lever (especially when running the twisties).   With the Triumph
heated grips I have absolutely no problem and the larger diameter is
actually less tiring on the hands than the thinner stock grips.
