Any suggestions for lifting the front end to remove the front wheel for tire 
change?

Simply place the bike securely on its centre stand and have a fat friend sit on 
the pillion seat. The front wheel is now securely in the air and can be safely 
removed. It is important to keep your friend well supplied with beer and 
twinkies until such time as the wheel is replaced.
