Leg Protection

First of all, Bill, I wish you and Jewel a speedy recovery.  I'm glad
you are only suffering minor injuries.

Both Richard and I have a pair of Draggin' Jeans and a set of Vanson
perforated leathers.  The Draggin' jeans provide protection at the
"contact points", the knees and rear and are admittedly cooler than the
Vansons. However, I perfer to wear the Vansons, especially after
hearing/seeing people go down.

When you live in a hot, humid climate, you just have to resign youself
to being somewhat hot if you are going to ride protected in the summer.
The perforated leather is TONS cooler than my cordura TourMaster pants!
The TourMasters will cause you to have heat exhaustion in the summer for
sure while the Vansons are uncomfortable when you're not moving!
