I got the mid-range 8660 series for $895. It uses a shim stack for the
compression damping adjustment in the remote reservoir and has a fixed low
speed bleed circuit versus a cd drum (holes) for the cheaper 8100 series and
adjustable low speed compression damping in the higher priced 8760 series.
It is a bit cheaper to upgrade to the 8760 from the 8660 as opposed to the
8100 also. Just in case I ever wanted to have the option of really messing
up my suspension.
