You did the same thing I did, and which most new riders do (I'm not new,
but back to riding after several years), and that is that you drove it
like a cage. In the van, I have no problem making the dueling turn into
dual lanes, but I won't do it on the bike. My lowside on the ST was
hitting loose gravel on a driveway into a strip mall, and trying to steer
and brake at the same time. Not enough adhesion to go around.
