Maybe.  Although I'm not convinced.

However, it is well known, with statistics to prove it, that the red STs
fall down (and otherwise get damaged) a lot more than the blue or black
ones.  Just look at the number of crash reports, sorted by color.

So blue is the safest color to have.  Must be a conspicuity thing.  ;-)
