Re: Wrist Pressure

Hey Folks,
I've been attempting to use counter steering to get out of corners instead of
in, (as Marc says use your legs) and if you sorta flap your arms going in to the
corner , you'll feel your lower body kick in and take over your lean angle. As
Marc said I hope this makes sense!! You can talk about it and experience a few
times on the road, however it's very difficult to break old habits!!! So you
really have to think about it if you've been ridin' the street for awhile. I'm
sure this is totally confusing, but it's tough to explain! You just have to rely
on your lower body (with footpeg pressure) to push your beauty thru the corner.
Try aiming the corner shoulder into the turn and relaxing that arm. I find the
more I practice it the longer rides I can take with no fatigue. I may or may not
be going faster (actually I am), but I'm so much more comfortable at the end of a
long day.
    Good ridin',
                    Jim
