Supposedly 5-6hp at the top end according to Triumph, but I've yet to see
anything to back those figures up.

The standard pipe has a tune that is very restrictive on the low rpm end in
order to meet emission and noise requirements. As the Triumph performance
can is for "track use only" the tune that is supplied with it allows a much
better performance at lower rpms.
