The moral of all this, for me, is DON'T RIDE IN LONDON.
why?

a) bike overheats because traffic is too slow
b) you need to remove panniers to filter and weave effectively
c) mileage goes down to something crap
d) energy and clout of the ST is wasted on traffic better
manoeuvred on a pizza moped
