I had my remote control right next to the rear fairing where the alarm is
mounted.  It didn't help.  Not sure how you could shield the alarm to
prevent interference - I suppose if you can't push the bike behind a
building then you could push a building in front of the bike?!!!  Seriously,
putting a metal plate behind the alarm might not be a bad idea, to reduce
interference from the left side, but it would also affect the remote
operation.

The low battery warning on the remote controls does not work properly either
- - the LED is supposed to flash, but the battery in one of my remotes is now
too low to disarm the alarm and the LED still doesn't flash.

You can still unlock the steering and push the bike when the alarm is armed;
you just need earplugs!
