Bag removal

Jim,

I guess the bag removal for adjusting the exhausts isn't that bad..
There are four screws that you have to remove in order to take the bag
mounting bracket off. There is the one by the turn signal, one by the
side cover and two that are mounted to the foot peg bracket. Then you
have to remove the lowering bracket on the exhaust, loosen the bolt that
allows you to turn the exhaust up and then attach the exhaust to the
original mounting point.

I use the bags daily going to and from work. I dont think I will go
through the trouble of doing the above for the weekends when I want to
ride a bit more aggressively. I guess if I start dragging the exhaust I
might reconsider.

Any body have any opinions on using the Mobil1 Motorcycle synthetic oil,
rated at 10W40 where the manual calls for 15W40. I live in the south so
I dont think it will be a problem. Any opinions??? The 10W40 does meet
the SH requirements.
