They are in the same place that the batteries are when you buy an
electronic device ... "Not Included".... ;-)

The only thing I could come up with is that they made a running change to
the grab rail and later model bikes had the M8 x 40 instead of the 20's
that we both ended up with. I ended up using other bolts from my parts bin
