Mark,
How has your luck been with Azaros? I bought a rear tire for my YZF1000
and after about 300 or 400 miles I noticed a slice in my tire on the
right side. Then one day while riding I got a nail in my tire. While
plugging my tire I noticed that this "slice" was now all the way across
the tire. This tire was coming apart! So I kind of count the nail in the
tire a blessing. I couldn't imagine riding at high speeds and have the
tire disintegrate. Needless to say I sent the tire back to AVON. Can you
believe they said they wouldn't refund my money due to the plug in the
tire. Regardless of nail or not a tire shouldn't come apart at the
seams! I put over 1200 miles on a Dunlop with a plug in it and it didn't
split at the seams. I hope you have had better luck than I.

Troy,
I've been using the Azzaros for two years now with no problems. In
fact I reckon they're probably the best all round tyres I've tried on
any bike. The Azzaros now come with a warranty to the effect that if
you puncture before wearing 1mm of thread the tyre will be replaced. I
suppose this is a first step towards a customer focussed approach
which would be a welcome change in the motorcycle industry in general.
