RE: add-ons and accessories

Tim,

I didn't give my dealer the option of installing my bags. Simply put I
have been burned in the past and I dont trust any shop. From my
experience the simple stuff like putting on panniers etc, a true
technician doesn't do the work but some young punk out of high school or
wana be technician does the work. They dont seem to take pride in their
work. For example I had to take my previous bike in for some repair due
to a crash. Well when I got my bike back I found that they had used
screws and bolts from their parts bin to put it back together. This was
evident form the rust on the bolts, where I didn't have any rust. They
also mismatched screws etc. If I can do the work myself I will. One, I
know it will be done right, secondly I get to know my bike better and
lastly I have a good excuse to buy more tools.

There's one thing that's really bugging me - I'm dying to know
why, whenever you all buy stuff from your Triumph dealer,
presumably for a new Sprint, you have to put the stuff on
yourselves?
