Couple of follow up questions -

On the leakage, was it a) significant - ie could you see the water when you
opened the bags or b) was it general moisture - more of a dampness felt in
the contents?

On the handling in the water, you stated previously that you were happy
with its handling. Was it moving around / hydroplaning / etc or was it
holding fairly steady and your brain was realizing how insane you were ?
