My dealer is located in Central Pennsylvania. The price list he gave me goes
like this:
A9508015-CM 3 Box Pannier System $1131.97 (red)
A9508015-PG Top Rack $141.48
According to my list from the dealer the top rack is required with the 3 box
system. That would bring the total price (with top rack) to $1273.45. I
ordered only the 2 box set which listed for $707.47, I also ordered the top
rack which can be used with a Givi adapter plate to mount Givi bags where a
top box would go. So, sounds like your dealer is offering you a reasonable
discount, assuming you are getting the top rack also. My dealer extends a
discount to people that buy the bike there. They do have a nice place and I
like doing business there but I would suggest you try to support your local
dealer unless there is a real reason not too. If you want some more info on
