Re: st-digest V1999 #10

I was at my dealer yesterday (drooling over my soon to be ST), and asked
about the fuel gauge because it has been a concern with so many new
owners. 

The sales guy mentioned that it just needed to break in.  Has anyone heard
this before?  Any higher milage owners notice any improvment?
