Hmm. Last weekend I got surprised a bit in traffic. Was running
just a touch hot, coming up behind a line of cars, and slowing
down very leisurely, when traffic halted. I grabbed a handful of
front brake and hung on. The bike became one with the planet.
It went from 30 to 0 without hitting any of the speeds in between.
Almost went over the top, and was glad for the cushioned tank
protector that will serve till the CF one gets here. I can't
imagine wanting any more brakes on the ST than it has. And the
1/4 travel of dead-pedal (dead-lever?) didn't affect me at all.
