I thought the recall was specifically for the bolts for the sump cover (oil
pan) and nothing internal.  Am I wrong, is it for internal bolts only,
external bolts only or a combination of both?

Hey Everyone,

DO NOT WAIT TO GET THE SUMP BOLTS REPLACED! 

I had mine done Saturday. When we tapped on the oil pan to break it free we
heard one of the bolts drop into it. I was one bump away from a major
problem. IF the inner bolt that dropped had bounced up it would have wrecked
the engine. I also had 2 outer bolts loose and leaking oil. My bike has 2700
miles on it.
