Eric,

Is this the same thing that Brian found to stop the fuel pump from buzzing?
If it is, do you think you provide some more info as far as location and
what the mod is - maybe a GIF?

Thanks,
Andy

Subject: Weekend stuff

Well, seems as if it has been quite the weekend for crashes (Rich and
Warren). Almost joined the group myself - was out on Saturday and found one
of roads under construction and the road crews had simply removed all the
tar from the road surface. Stopped to check the consistency, as we have a
lot of sand in this state, but found that it was hard and firmly packed.
The posted sign warned of construction for 5 miles so I wasn't too worried
and set off down the road at a slow pace. About 2 miles in the road surface
turned to fine sand, but due to the overhanging trees I didn't see the
surface change - all of a sudden the front wheel sank and the whole front
end turned sharp left. Luckily by dropping both feet to the ground, I was
able to stabilize and then proceed on with extreme caution....

Other projects this weekend...

- - removed rollover valve and rerouted vent lines so they would not become
crimped or kinked.

- - found rear RH signal bracket (from bag kit) had moved and was rubbing on
the fairing - it had cut through to the white underside.

- - polished rear brake level (posted pic earlier)

- - bled front brake system

- - added the Triumph taller tinted windscreen (added pics on the accessory
page)
