Oh yes. Notice I didn't find myself falling in lust like I did when I first
test-rode the T595 though... that bike excited me immensely, as a read of
the write-up I did at the time should tell you. However, it's visceral
appeal - as demonstrated over my favourite country roads - was my emotional
response overriding my intellect. Practicality is rarely particularly sexy.
But then, if pure practicality was my only consideration, I'd be on a Honda
Pan or a BMW K100RT instead. Which is why the ST makes sense - a bit of
serious soul, in a pair of sensible shoes...
