The gasket is only required if the mechanic buggers up the old one getting
the cover off.

I seem to be getting mixed information, or else I'm making 
a mixed interpretation...

Is a sump gasket required for the bolt recall on the Sprint ST?
My service manager says no, and seem to me I read yes on
the list. I'm supposed to be getting the work done Saturday 
and then head out for a trip the following Thursday, so time
is of the essence.

Help...
