FW: Interesting accessory.

Another Interesting Item is the Xena Disk Lock/Alarm. It has a little
piezo screamer & Angle detector in it. If you forget to take it off, as
soon as you straighten up the bike it screams at you.

Saved my hide a couple of times..

Cost in Australia is $139 AUS

Subject: Interesting accessory.

I recently purchased a new disk lock and with it came an interesting
accessory. Included was a length of high vis' yellow spiral wire (like
the wire that connects a telephone to the handset but lighter) with a
loop at each end. The idea is to put one loop through the shackle of
the disk lock and the other goes around the clutch lever so that you
don't drive off with the lock still in place. As a bonus, most people
seem to think it's some sort of high tech security device or part of
the alarm system so it may even help keep the tea-leaves away from
     your beloved Trumpet.

As anyone who has ever ridden away with a disk lock attached knows,
it's not just embarrassing but can be very expensive. One of my riding
buddies needed a new disk, calliper and right side fairing for his
ZX-10 after a lapse of memory saw him lying under one very heavy
Kawasaki on the pavement outside the local bike-shop. I've seen
similar cable on bikers keyrings which could be easily adapted.

Just an idea I liked that I thought I'd share.
