RE: Tank Bag

I've got the bag. I am 6 ft. and the bag is a little tall for my tastes. My
chest leans on it all the time in order to reach the grips and this is at
the fully collapsed position. It has good capacity though. It is also not
very convenient to take completely off the bike for washing. The base pad is
secured by straps that loop up and around the perimeter frame in the front
and loop through tabs installed at the base of the tank under the front of
the seat. I was able to attach quick release buckles on my 95 Sprint but I
haven't found a way to do this yet on the ST. Clearances are very tight
around the tank and fairing so it doesn't allow easy access to any quick
release type set up in the front. I wash and polish my bike almost every
weekend after riding so it is a little frustrating to go through this
process every time. I'm considering using the Triumph bag for long trips
when I need large capacity and buying a small after market bag for quick
trips.

Does anybody have the Triumph Tank Bag?

What do you think of it. Is it easily removed? Is it collapsible? If so
how small does it get? Does anybody have an aftermarket bag they can
recommend that fits well?
