Re: Tank Bag

I just bought a tank bag by TourMaster (after having returned a bag which
'looked great' in the catalogue by Chase Harper). This bag is so well
designed, including an excellent closed foam cell pad which completely
protects against the quick release clips------- the one thing I like best
about it (and was a problem with Chase Harper and other bags that I looked
into), is that when you remove the bag (and the pad which can attach to the
bag), the quick release harness at the seat slips easily under the seat, and
the quick release harness at the steering head slides around easily (or
disconnects with Velcro in 2 seconds) and becomes inconspicuous at the
front ----- what I like about this, is that the times that I'm not using the
bag, the mounting hardware is not stuck on top of the tank and you maintain
the sleek lines of the bike.
