Re: Final purchasing options

Scott,

I haven't heard much about the Scottoiler (I think that previous postings
indicate that they're not yet adaptable for the ST).

The bag issue is clearly a subjective issue, and I appear to be one of the
few that DOESN'T like the look of the bags as much as the clean lines of the
bike ---- with the luggage off I think the remaining hardware really looks
cluttered (its less obvious on the black ST, and I've got a red one). I've
opted for a good set of soft luggage from Chase Harper---'European Tour
Saddlebags, catalog number 958 (check out Andy Goldfin'es Aerostitch
Riderwearhouse catalogue 1-800-222-1994 or www.aerostich.com/aerostich ,)
and at $167.00, they're a whole lot cheaper than the Triumph bags (what are
they running??? close to $800!!!!??). I can pop them off in seconds and
don't have the 'cluttered' look left.

Hope that helps, Lance LaCerte, Denver
