Re: two bros slip on

For what its worth I would strongly advise against anything other than the Triumph slip-on; I tried 3 other pipes (2 Wolf, one other cant remember) on the T509 Speed Triple; all were very loud and got alot louder as they fell to pieces. I am sure there are good pipes out there but only take personal recommendations - ignore anything the builder tells you; if you dont like the build quality send it straight back.
I never got my money back, and there are far too many cowboys out there making very dodgy kit and charging £250+ for a metal tube! All 3 pipes made the bike run unevenly, used more fuel and fitted badly.
I am just suggesting that you are REALLY careful before forking out your hard earned cash. Both Triumph pipes I fitted (ST and Speed Triple) worked great, looked great and seem to give a gain in power.
cheers

Talked with Two Bros about the slip on for the Sprint and why they
omitted the dyno chart results below 5000 rpm. They said that without
the remaping below 5000 the hp dipped a little bit below the stock can.
But....with the remaping it was just a hair above the stock up to 5000
and above 5000 there was even a higher hp gain than what was listed on
the site.

I am kind of skeptical about buying this pipe. I would hate to buy it
and find a serious lag or dip in the power band. How many different
maps are there for the Sprint. Anybody have any comments or input???
