Valerie,

I forgot to email you about this. I spoke to someone "in the know" at
Triumph about this. Some of the original dealers in the US were given long
(too long in his words) contracts, but NONE guaranteed exclusivity by
geographic location (so his is just blowing smoke). Usually the Triumph rep
will not market in the backyard of an established dealer unless they are
attempting to move the contract to a new dealer, but that in no way excuses
the fact that their is only one dealer in the whole state.

The two things I can say about your problem is that 1) The rep for the area
is doing a piss poor job of recruiting new dealers 2) The current dealer is
not getting enough negative feedback at Triumph of America for them to be
concerned.

It was recommended that you make your feelings about that dealer known to
Jerry at Customer service (at ToA newtricorp@xxxxxxx) so that the rep for
the area could be made aware of the problem.
