Sorry to beat the dead horse, but you asked.
My gas gauge is reliable and repeatable. Build date is 11/98.
Low fuel light comes on when the guage hits E. At that time, I typically put
in about 4.75 US gallons. Leaves about 3/4 US gal for a "reserve".
