Yeah, until CT troopers started getting a higher than normal incidence
of testicular cancer. Turns out the troopers were resting their radar
guns in their laps when not in use, thus leading to some rather
unpleasant side effects. The state outlawed the use of radar for speed
enforcement, and then got rid of their radar detector ban as well.
