I do get about 48-50 mpg for my ride.  it runs a little rich and has the
performance can so no biggy.

Your bike must get considerably poorer fuel mileage than mine.  I can 
ride mine for 200 miles at an average of 85-90 MPH indicated
(Interstate speed limits in Arizona are 75 MPH so traffic flow is often
normally averaging 80-85 MPH) and when I stop for refueling, it rarely
takes much over 4-4.2 gallons.
