At all times? You're not at all selective? I use main beam when I
think that it will aid conspicuity without dazzling anyone, for example
while filtering [lane splitting] when I'm only in someone's mirror for a
matter of seconds. Taking a counter example, the VFR rider who followed
me in heavy traffic for twenty minutes with his main beam on did *not*
amuse me and might have engendered road rage in a less calm individual.
