bulbs

G'day all
Here in Australia I own an Auto spare parts and accessories shop. While you guys have been discussing bulbs I took home a pair of new style of h4 globes which are 30% brighter and still only 60/55 watts. Also available in Hella. Pretty excited about the concept of brighter lights at know extra current drain I removed 1 of my Head light globes and it turns out to be an Osram 60/55 made in Germany. I grabbed the new globe and had a look, low and behold it's the exact same globe to the full stop at the end of the part number. It seems Triumph have seen fit to put the better product already in.
In the y2k beasties there are 2 relay sockets on the far right hand side just under the instruments.I believe these are for dual lighting has anyone fitted relays to these? Are they standard 4 pin style suitable for driving lights or horns or are they something different? My local dealer has just bridged across the sockets to get dual lights similar to the 99 model. Can any one shed any light on this? (Bad pun)
Regards
Peter
