Re: frothy oil?

Paul,
If you are still in doubt about coolant loss into the oil try loosening the
drain plug after the bike has sat overnight. Any large amount of coolant will
have separated from the oil and sunk to the bottom of the pan. Loosening the
drain plug enough to start a small leak will allow the coolant to start
draining. It will look like dirty coolant if you collect it in a drinking
glass. If still in doubt take a close look at the collected fluid. If it is
contaminated oil it will appear to have globules at the bottom of the glass. If
you are still not sure what you are looking for take another glass and pour some
fresh oil into it, then add some coolant and compare the glasses. Hope this
helps.

Dan

PS. Make sure to wash those glasses thoroughly afterwards as everything you
just drained into them is extremely toxic if taken internally.
