RE: Sport Cans Pics Wanted/Sound?

In a nut shell, yes it does look like the standard can, but, and a large but
at that, it comes with a Triumph badge on it.

As for the sound, well all STs should have one fitted as standard!! It is a
MUST HAVE extra - it sounds, well, good as a matter of fact. Sort of fruity
without being obnoxious at the same time.

Regards,

Mark.

Subject: Sport Cans Pics Wanted/Sound?

So, I've waited and researched and ridden the ST Sprint. I went to the
dealer today and told him I want the black one. He told me he'd
hold it until I sent him a list of the optional stuff I wanted on it. I
know I want the sport cans, but can't decide on the cf or the
polished alum. So, I was wondering if anyone can send me a pic of a bike w/
the polished alum. Does it look like the standard pipe?
Also, how do they sound? I had a pair of Staintune cans on my Ducati M900
and they sounded great, not HD loud, but loud enough, is it
anything similar? I've seen pics of the carbon fiber and like it, but
though I might save a few bucks and get the shiny alum. one if it
looks like the stock can. This is a big step for me as I belong to most BMW
organizations and six of the last seven bikes I've owned were
beemers. I'm selling my mint '76 R90s, but keeping my '73 R75/5 that is in
the process of being restored. My beemer friends said I can
still ride w/ to the BMW rallies:) I've owned: '71 R75/5, '73 R75/5, '76
R90s, '94 M900, '97 F650, and a '97 K1100LT which I just sold
back to my bmw dealer.
Thanks,
